Abstract

As part of the celebrations of the third centenary of Immanuel Kant's birth organised by the Grupo de Estudios Kantianos de Buenos Aires (GEK), on Friday 19 April 2024, two interviews were held with renowned Kantian researchers and also very dear professors of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, Dr. Mario Caimi and Dr. Claudia Jáuregui. The activity took place in the framework offered by the Instituto de Filosofía Dr. Alejandro Korn - Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires. Professor Jáuregui was interviewed by Dr. Matías Oroño. Professor Jáuregui develops her approach to the texts of modernity in general and those of Kant in particular, from a problem-based approach. This enquiry into what the fissures in a theory tell us about it is at the heart of the report, which offers us an enriching discussion on the current teaching of Kantian philosophy. True to her search for fissures, Jáuregui rejects the label "Kantian" for herself and disassociates the naïve identification between researchers and their object of study.
